Danya is a Canadian content creator, blogger, and photographer. Danya, popularly known as the Desert Carnation, is a freelance travel and lifestyle photographer. She left her 9–5 position in corporate finance in order to live the digital nomad life and tour the world. Although frightening, this adventure has been the most rewarding so far. As a creative outlet and to express her passion for all things travel, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle-related, she created this blog in May 2017. She made the decision to invest in her business in 2018 and traveled to Bali for a Pangea Dreams retreat, where she learned about social media and branding and connected with other like-minded women from around the world, further empowering her. Danya viewed numerous lessons on YouTube and enrolled in photography and editing classes on Skillshare, a fantastic resource for learning new specialised skills.
