Later, all were granted bail releases. Guru Randhawa issued a statement after the incident, apologising for both his actions and the accidental occurrence. He had several cameo appearances in his songs in the films Hindi Medium, Blackmail, Why Cheat India, Ujda Chaman, and Time to Dance.
