Alexa or Alexandra is a true diver by heart, a worldwide traveller, a writer of her experiences, a videographer, and a great adventurous enthusiast. Her diving journey started when she was just 19 and since then she never looked back.
Her love for ocean started since childhood and that brought her forth in life. She has been to Grand Cayman for the photography and video graphs sessions, and it turned out amazing.
She is a trained diver as she has done the Rescue Diver’s Course. Before she really made into a career as underwater Videographer, she tried many part-time jobs to meet her ends as a babysit and bartender.
She had a zeal for her dreams, which was one quality I particularly loved. She accomplished a lot. She completed the task on her own. She captured images of whales, sharks, and batfish. She was residing in a rental hut with an ocean view for $150 a month.
“I became more deeply in love with the ocean the more time I spent in it,” said Alexandra.
She even applied for a grant at Women Diver’s Fame about a local dive show. Meanwhile, she started her own blog Alexa in Wanderland where it was about sharing her experiences altogether. When she received an overwhelming response and a lot of traction on her blog, she gave a thought to take it seriously.
Throughout her journey she learned different strategies and methods to deal with the diving experience and make it through. She learned and gave time to overcome her phobia of Nighy diving. It was no less than like physics exam for her. In diving we tend to need to carry tanks over the shoulder which is a very difficult task.
And moving forward in life she now became a PADI AmbassaDiver where she also gets to travel a lot. She believes in educating herself for life and never stopping herself being a learner. She really feels the need to talk about conservation and the environment especially ocean conservation.
Today, she is a full-time travel blogger, and millions out there are influenced by her journey. She gives tips, lessons, and classes on her diving page. Her hands are full of different diving projects all over the world. No doubt, she is an inspiration for everyone. She believes in sustainable living and her focus in life is always to make sustainable choices whether big or small.
