He attended the Egyptian Arab Music Institute in Cairo to study music, where he was noticed by the composer Baligh Hamdy.

Abdullah Bilkhair is well-known to everyone for his powerful voice and positive energy, and also love himself so much and likes to be in spot light. One of his interviews he mentioned that he is very happy about the rumors of him marrying Lebanese artists. Another story Bilkhair shared that shows his love about spotlight when he was with the shaikhs in London, they asked him not to wear kandora (traditonal clothes) and wear casual, so people can not recognize him , but he could not stand not being in the spotlight and went back wore kandora, He felt that life has returned into him. He suddenly found himself surrounded by shaikhs, had to copy their actions and follow their steps everywhere and believes that was a good opportunity where no one has received .“Their upbringing was about etiquettes, rights, listening, then welcoming and greeting people with kisses from all walks of life any day,” he said.

Bilkhair is also known being supportive to new singers, He shocked everyone that he spent a million dollars on votes for Egyptian contestant Carmen Suleiman, who won the first season of “Arab Idol 2012”.

He mentioned that his father was not really available during his childhood, and ofcourse as any normal human being he faced alot of challenges but he never let grief to slip into him. Rather than feeling like a failure, Bilkhair automatically switches things up whenever he feels like he could be sad by reading, learning, or watching something. He experienced grief just like any other human being when he lost his parents and other loved ones, but other than that, not really.
