Who knew that blogging could also be a full-time job? It might not be for many. By blogging full-time, an American blogger named Aimee Song, made a fairly unique contribution. She was born into a family of interior architects, and in 2008, she launched the “song of style” blog. She is currently working on that.
That was when people on the Forbes were making their mark and Aimee was one of them by making influencing a full-time job. She started all this in 2008 when she was studying in San Francisco in an Interior Architecture course. Back then, it was really embarrassing to have a blog. She didn’t have that typical college party life. Having a blog is kind of a creative outlet for her. And without telling anybody she started all that.
Initially she posted about her personal outfit for the first time. During her college days she got a job as a fresher and her outfit was the reason, she got a job as a fresher. It was way something very different from the normal college going dress up. She was always into fashion since young, and this is what motivated her to post about it. That photo went viral out of the blue. She started her career with lot of writing with still images on it much before when Instagram wasn’t there.
Audience really liked her body of work and stayed around until she made a mark and grew a huge following on Instagram. Now after so much hard work her blog has earned a following of 2 million views/ month. She has now her own jewellery and clothing line too. Her jewellery collections hold ornaments in gold and semi-precious stones and her apparel collection features “two songs” in a pure Californian street style inspired look including T-shirts and sweatshirts.
Now she has partnered with different companies such as Valentino, Parada, Amazon Fashion, and beauty brands. She has even her own face oil registered under Biossance. She has even started her online journal exploring about the mental health and her own therapy experiences in the past. She is no doubt, a classic influencer and will remain so.
And now when all is going too well, she has now come up with raw, unfiltered images for the real authenticity. Her house in Los Angeles where she stays with her boyfriend and a child where she showed off her impeccable interior and fashion sense through the art and craft of her house.
With such a huge following she is no less than living a life she really dreamt of.
