Following her own dramatic transformation, fashion designer, influencer, and YouTube sensation Alanoud Badr, better known as Lady Fozaza, wants to get the UAE fit. Fozaza Fit is a health channel and social media account created by Alanoud Badr that provides motivation and guidance for getting fit. Alanoud stated, “I want to share my life, my experience, and my objectives.” I am extremely involved in fitness and healthy eating.
After losing an impressive 17 kilograms, the fashion designer made the decision to launch Fozaza Fit after receiving numerous inquiries and requests for advice. I thought it might be helpful to have all the answers to everyone’s questions in one place, and people loved it,” she continued.
While Alanoud is now a fitness ambassador, she’s also an ambassador for Puma ME, her own weight loss journey was not an easy one after a combination of hormone tablets for her Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and depression saw her weight balloon. “I put on a good 15kg in a month,” she admitted.
“I felt I was loosing control,” she added, “so it was basically a switch that came on in my head and I decided to try to find other ways to get rid of my PCOS via energy healing and alternative medicine, which worked and once that was out of the way I adopted a healthier lifestyle. I wanted something to last.”
The petite beauty revealed that, rather than succumbing to the temptations of fad diets, she began conducting research, “studying food in general and all the calorie intakes and good carbs versus bad carbs and good fat versus bad fat.” She eventually discovered both the foods to which she was intolerant and the foods to which her body responded most favorably. Alanoud is now a firm proponent of consuming food in accordance with blood type.
Alanoud launched Fozaza Fit as a platform to share success stories, and offer healthy recipes, inspirational quotes, and nutritional advice after achieving her own health goals. The Instagram page has previously amassed 7,540 followers and is quickly developing.
Alanoud’s adheres to the 30 percent exercise to 70 percent food ratio. She has already given up eating a lot of carbs, even raving about her cauliflower pizza crusts. She stated, “I started making my own pizza using cauliflower crust instead of flour, and little things like that.” She said, “I slowly found ways to take myself away from comfort food like bad carbs and bring me back to the kinds of food that give you energy, fill you up, and make you happy.”
After a few months of eating well, she realized she needed to combine it with the right kind of exercise to ensure that she slowly turned her body into a fat-burning machine by lifting light weights and building some much-needed muscle around her body. This way, the occasional cheat meal won’t only make my body happy but also prevent her from gaining weight. Judging her before and after pictures, Alanoud Badr understands what she is doing. Furthermore, a touch of motivation and guidance from Fozaza Fit surely couldn’t cause us any damage to getting us physically functional and moving in the gym.
