She is a hybrid of Irish, Czech, and Italian ancestry. In 2014, “True Detective,” her first HBO series, helped her gain fame.

She started an exercise routine when she was older, and she hasn’t stopped since. She now enjoys yoga and frequently visits the gym, where she mainly focuses on lunges and squats as workouts that target her hips and glutes. She received a nomination for an Outstanding Supporting Actress Emmy Award in 2022 for her performance as Rachel Patron in the television series White Lotus. The white Lotus has received nominations for Best Limited Series so far. She has a dog named Levon and resides in Los Angeles.
