Has it happened to you? You are on your first tour, you watch vas mountain ranges, the majestic sea, mist, snow, and glittering water, such experiences reach the deep-down receptacle of our soul. Internally purifying us from the inside out. Helps us to become real, and be in our true skin, comforts us, whenever we feel disappointed or sad, and helps us in refreshing ourselves. Yes, Nature is quite notorious to do just that.
Carmen Huter is deeply moved by the same when she moved from Austria to New Zealand. It opened up her eyes, she saw and felt things that were beyond this world, yet in the same world, she was feeling all of it. She had always seen it in documentaries, but now it was all real. She couldn’t believe the reality she was living for a while. She realized what nature is like, and also realized how humans have completely destroyed nature for the sake of development and growth. Now, she thought about nature while doing every reckless thing which will cause pollution and she no longer does them. She feels everyone else needs the same revelation, they are all unaware of many things and that is not allowing them to realize their mistakes.
At that point in time, She started photography, to capture those pretty beautiful, majestic mountains and sea horizons. She started putting those pictures out in the world to see and realize things for themselves. She tried to attract their attention using the most amazing and engaging pictures, the prettiest ones. And indeed, she was right, they all noticed it. Although some ignored but still the ones who had good hearts, and the ones that really cared, they came to the forefront and did what was possible for them.
Now her motto is “Create more than you consume”, this statement is basically to remind herself to give more to nature through her unfazed dedication. She wants to aware more and more people to take a similar initiative to save nature in whatever way possible which they can. Small steps count, and if they all try even little things could get resolved to a bigger extent. She believes there is a need to have that sense of community where people engage, learn and create and eventually save the things they care about. She currently organizes workshops where she advises people how to photograph, she teaches them about colors with her immense knowledge and experience as a photographer.
