The Canadian actress and model Armeena Rana Khan is of Pakistani descent and works in film and television. She is one of the most well-known actresses in Pakistan and has been nominated for a Lux Style Award, a Hum Award, and a Nigar Award. Khan became well-known in the Urdu entertainment sector thanks to the majority of the incredibly successful television series in which she has starred. She was listed among the “50 Sexiest Asian Women” by Eastern Eye, and the Pakistan Achievement Awards presented her with the Women Empowerment Award the following year. Khan, who was raised in Manchester and was born in Toronto to Pakistani parents, has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Manchester.
After a few months of working as a model, Khan made her acting debut in the British short film Writhe, which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival, making Khan the first actress from Pakistan to do so. Khan subsequently garnered acclaim for her performances as a lady involved in a love triangle in Rasm E Duniya and as a distressed wife in the social drama Daldal, both of which were produced by Hum TV. She has been playing Tara in the Hum TV series Mohabbatein Chahatein. Khan pursued modeling before switching to acting.

But she had a breakthrough with the television program Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hugi, for which she was also nominated for a Hum Award. She then went on to continue with more TV series, playing the lead role alongside Adnan Siddiqui in Ishq Parast and Karb. In 2013’s Huff! It’s Too Much, Khan made her Bollywood debut in a leading role.
