Namrata Purohit is a Mindfulness Practitioner, Sports Nutritionist, Author, Entrepreneur, and Co-Founder of The Pilates Studio Mumbai. Namrata first learned about fitness and gained a depth knowledge of it through the inspiration and mentorship from her father. It is the outcome of deliberate exposure to fitness-related activities that cast an intuition in her which developed as she learned more and more with each passing day and later became the youngest Stott Pilates Instructor in the entire world at the age of 16, one’s hardly even aware of things as such, it was a proof that she was different from an average Indian child. Later she completed the list of courses associated with Stott Pilates and started working professionally as a Trainer and Mentor to Bollywood celebrities, Athletes, and prominent public figures. She was a trained singer in the classical genre and a very good dancer since the time when she was in school. Her Singing helps her as a relief from stress, she writes “I turn to music and singing to wash away the stresses of the day”. She also has a great interest in writing and She has even written her own book titled “The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Being Fit”. She was even selected as a state-level football player.

Pilates involves extensive body movement and through it, one applies pressure to condition the skin and muscles by repetitively keeping the same muscle groups, in motion. Namrata can recently be seen training celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, previously she has trained famous Bollywood actresses such as Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor, and Aditya Roy Kapur. To be an expert in a particular field is a huge achievement and Namrata is literally like a doctor for muscle-related injuries or issues related to bodily fitness.
