Many young women aspire to walk down a designer runway or front a clothing brand campaign. Girls at seven years old frequently model themselves after their favourite catwalk models. Fiona Fussi realised her dream when she won the Elite Model Look Singapore competition at 15. Fiona fussi, who has an Austrian father and a Chinese mother, has had a successful modelling career since then. Fiona fussi was the face of the Audi Fashion Festival, Singapore’s most prominent fashion event, in 2012.
Fiona became the first Singaporean model ambassador to represent the global beauty brand L’Oreal Paris in Asia in 2014. In Asia, L’Oreal Paris has always relied on celebrity endorsement. Fiona was appointed as the Asia ambassador for Acuvue Define in 2016.
Fiona fussi has accomplished much since joining the industry, from walking the runways in Paris and New York to fronting global campaigns for Clarins and Charlotte Tilbury. Fiona’s favourite aspect of her job is the opportunity to travel. Fiona has lived in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris, and New York, among other places. Even now, during the pandemic, she still travels frequently for work. Fussi has naturally gravitated toward beauty assignments over the years. Working in Singapore is more relatable and fulfilling for the Singaporean model.
For beauty jobs, Fiona prefers modelling. They are on a broader scale, such as global campaigns. They not only pay better, but she also enjoys working one-on-one with the clients. Additionally, Fiona has been seen in television commercials for the brands. In addition, she has been featured in several cosmetics and skincare tutorials for the brands Chanel and Clarins. Essential Models Management, based in Singapore, is the modelling agency currently representing her. Aside from that, Fussi is also gaining experience as a Content Creator by presenting her lifestyle, travel blogs, and love for Anime on her Instagram account.
Even though the industry has the potential to be exciting, there is always a degree of unpredictability associated with working in it. In contrast to many traditional occupations, a career in this industry does not always provide financial and professional security to its practitioners. This is especially important to remember in light of the ongoing pandemic.
Aside from this, one of the other things that models are concerned about is the idea of becoming older. When working in a field that places a premium on being young, the prospect of getting older can be very distressing. Once they reach a certain age, models frequently find themselves no longer in demand.
Fussi is fortunate in that this is not a case of personal insecurity. Because aging is a natural and beautiful process, it brings maturity, experience, and wisdom, which we should welcome with open arms.
However, Fussi has absolutely nothing to worry about because she has a lot of exciting things coming up, not just in the modelling world. Both as an actor and a singer, Fussi has shown that she has talent. Throughout three different shows, she has appeared in various roles. Even more impressively, the most current iteration of one of her projects, The Last Madame, was awarded the prize for Best Digital Drama at the 2020 Asian TV Awards.
Fussi is eager to add more acting credits to her portfolio now that the job she has done as an actress has garnered her widespread acclaim. Over the past year, she has read several different scripts. Fussi is currently juggling her acting career in addition to her modelling job.
