Gaurav was born on 9 July 1986; he was born and brought up in a middle-class family belonging to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The nascent fitness fanatic did his schooling at Jawahar Narvodaya Vidyalaya, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and went to study civil engineering at a very prestigious IIT Kharagpur. The enterprising multitasker had always dreamed of being a pilot and operating in high-flying aviation. After completing his training course with CAE Madrid and landing a job at IndiGO in 2011, he discovered his dream. Controversy Regarding Air Asia
In recent days Gaurav made a big statement concerning “Air Asia” he stated that his airline “Air Asia” is overlooking the safety standards they must endure for the safety of their pilots, passengers, and the aircraft.
After this statement, the “Air Asia” airlines sacked him from his job and abandoned all his allegations. But Gaurav courageously raised his say on the issue on print media and social media and achieved massive support from users, his followers & fans.
He also noted that his employer did not allow pilots to take sick leave when they were in bad health and that the airlines didn’t even follow any procedures the government disseminated during this Covid-19 situation. DGCA has now chosen to lead an inquiry over the subject and will decide on the matter as soon as possible.
