Gay Times Cover Magazine Hero Bretman Rock who faced a backlash on racist remark

Bretman Rock’s idea behind being a beauty influencer started all the way back through one of his videos where he is seen doing a makeover of his younger sister, but he did face a backlash on one of his remarks on ‘Racism’.

Bret aka Bretman Rock Sacayanan Laforga is a Filipino influencer who is a keen beauty influencer and a great social media and YouTuber in Honolulu, Hawaii. His 8.89M subscribers on YouTube got him the biggest limelight of his career. ‘A channel for the baddest’ is what best defines him. He will be found on all of the social media platforms and can be seen giving his best of his videos. All the way back to his initial days Bret’s started making videos on beauty and makeup in 2012 and grew a huge fan following. His video ‘How to look better and sensual’ was the most liked video. In one of his videos, he is seen doing his sister’s makeover which garnered him 10M views.

A well-known makeup artist who excelled in his field, was self-taught, and became well-known for his artistic and imaginative skills. Despite just being 31 years old, he has done a lot in his little life. His 5’8″ height encouraged him to pursue modelling, but he finally made another decision. A Filipino makeup artist has gained worldwide recognition for his flawless makeup videos and skills. He had been dating a man off and on for two years until they finally called it quits. His appearance on the Gay Times magazine’s Pride month cover is his greatest professional achievement to date.

His recent collaboration with ‘wet and wild’ on the ‘The Jungle Book collection’ of eyeshadows was breathtaking. It also included highlighters (every girl’s fav), and mascara.

One of his remarks on racism where he was prone to an apology caused an uproar all over social media. 15-year-old Rock seemed to make an insinuated remark over a slurring racial word which made the public lashed out on him until he stated an apology.

“I’ve apologized for the video, and it was stupid I admit it. I am ashamed of this act and intend to not do it again”

Racism is a burning and a very sensitive issue and needs careful handling in public. It has already caused a lot of uproar and even a slightest glitch causes a huge lash out. An apology does mend things but being a celebrity comes with a price and a lesson to be learnt to be taking things extra carefully.
