Well, Do you know about hip-hop? I’m sure you do. Today I’d introduce a music group to you, this group has roots in hip hop and is now an antique functional part of it. Sounds confusing? Well, don’t be. I’m just trying to tell you that this HipHop group is quite old and even some famous rappers like logic talk about them. It’s Karpe or popularly known as Karpe Diem because of their long stint being represented by this name. Perhaps it’s the modern-day demand for which they had to restrict it to a single word “Karpe”. So, Karpe is a rap group hailing from Norway, Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid and Chirag Rashmikant Patel are two of its members, they both are considered audio-visual artists. Magdi has Egyptian/Norwegian roots and Chirag is of Indian origin. They both formed Karpe back in 2000 at a very young age. Although they started so early, still their debut album took almost 4 years. It was in 2004 that they came up with “Glasskår EP” and the title track from the album got immensely popular in Norway, soon they became quite popular and as days went by their songs started getting played on every nook and corner of the major cities and towns in Norway. Hip Hop is truly music for the street since it also carries some message with all the bragging that goes on in the song. Sometimes packs deep emotions and much-needed expressions to make the listeners aware of some genuine reality that they might not have acknowledged before. They received immense appreciation and recognition from all his fans, which was why they won so many awards, whether for Best Album, or for Best Music video, or any other prestigious Music Award. They have received honors such as Spellemannprisen, P3 Gull, and Evardprisen. Their discography contains 5 albums in total and 4 Ep.
Yes, there are talks of Karpe’s upcoming Live Musical Performance at Hamar, Hamar is a town in Norway, which is located on the shores of Mjosa, Norway’s largest lake. Karpe will visit this town on Saturday, the 1st of July next year which is 2023. Previously, Karpe was quite appreciated for their outstanding performance at Oslo Spectrum, which was filled with almost 10 times, perhaps beyond the max limit, I seriously don’t have any idea, How they were able to fit there. Tickets for the show will start to get sold from the day after tomorrow that is 22 of October. So, if you are a fan of Karpe Diem you should definitely be the first one to get the tickets. In my opinion, Karpe Diem has shown outstanding perseverance and consistency and in this particular dimension, they’ve won my heart.
