Wael Abu Alteen is a Dubai-based travel blogger who graduated from Jordan with a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering. Wael moved to Dubai in 2013 and worked as a biomedical engineer there for five years.He gained a solid technical understanding as well as numerous personal advancements while working in a rapidly expanding city during this time.
In 2016, Wael began working as a travel influencer with a focus on hotels and destinations. He began his career working for Dubai-based hotels and brands; His primary objective was to highlight hotels and eateries for his followers and encourage them to visit and try them. Within two years, Wael was able to feature most of Dubai’s hotels and began working internationally with numerous tourism boards and hotels.
Later on, Wael collaborated with numerous tourism boards worldwide, including the Dubai tourism board, the Swiss tourism board, the Czech tourism board, the Malta tourism board, and the Dominican Republic tourism board, to name just a few.His primary goal was to highlight the locations and give his followers more exposure through social media.
Unlike his brother Na’el, Wael made the decision in 2018 to venture into education and social media in order to gain acceptance to a master’s program in biomedical engineering in Germany. Wael had made the decision to quit his job around this time to move to Germany to expand his social media channel internationally; while studying simultaneously. Traveling and biomedical engineering helped him discover his passion.
Wael decided to participate in the international summit held in Switzerland which took place in June 2019 at Davos, and he was the only Middle Eastern participant. Weal was given opportunities to collaborate with numerous major hotel chains worldwide.His primary focus is on highlighting the best aspects of any new destinations and sharing an enjoyable experience with his followers.
Wael has a stunning Instagram feed with eye-catching, vibrant colors. He inspires his fans and followers with his amazing social media feeds. Usually, before he goes, he does research on the destination and chooses a style that would look good there! He always checks the colors in his photos, just like his brother Na’el does. Wael and Na’el travel together most of the time, and as a team, they produce very creative Instagram content. Through his inventive and creative work, Wael Alteen hopes to visit more places and raise public awareness.
