Guillermina Valdes or María Guillermina Valdés is a popular Argentine model and an actress. She has also become a businesswoman in recent years due to all her investments. She initially got popular back in the 1990s as a model by cat-walking and showcasing designer outfits on the main fashion catwalks nationally and internationally. Then came the transition phase and after that, she started working in soap operas and television shows.
She was born in Buenos Aires, a city in Argentina, from where she did her schooling but later on she dropped out by consent as she had other ideas for her career. She started working for her father where she caught the eye of Pancho Dotto, and he invited her to work in a modeling agency and make her career as a model. In 1997 she got signed to Dotto Models and at that time she was just 19 years old. She ramp walked for the first time as a professional model in Miami and New York. She received huge appreciation for her outstanding job. Later she participated in many more fashion shows and made quite a name for herself as a model.
After becoming widely popular she got her first job as an actress in which she was asked to host a children’s educational program “El Libro gored de Petete” which was broadcasted at night on Telefein close to the turn of the century. She later was invited to “Poné a Francella”, in which she was playing the role of “Angie”. After this she went on a short hiatus and then returned back to work in the telenovela “Copstumbres Argentinas” in which she acted and played the role of “Verónica Mazza, a mathematics teacher in a school. Thereafter she worked in some more prominent shows and films such as “Booties”, “First-time stories”, “Showmatch: Geniuses of Argentina” and “Who is the mask?”. Her two prominent movie appearances include “Tokyo” and “the red thread”.
Recently she is in news for accepting the “Spicy” challenge which was initiated by her son “Dante”. Initially, she summed up all her courage and went for it but she seemed unhappy when she was about to eat it. Dante ordered lemonade after watching his mom, just as a precautionary measure. She seemed mute after eating the spicy food and then after a while, she reached for the drink. It’s indeed great that she is living a single life happily and going on outings with her family.
