Joanna Goddard was born in Paris, and she spent her childhood in France, England, and the suburbs of Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan. After graduation in 2001, Joanna moved to New York and started her career in Cosmopolitan magazine. She worked 3 years for the Cosmopolitan and was then offered a position of Editor-in-chief at Bene, which is an award-winning quarterly about Italian life.
She also worked for magazines like Glamour. Joanna loved writing and all these years while gaining experience in the blogging industry; she continued to work on her personal blog “ A Cup of Joe”. She started the blog in 2007 as a hobby and by 2011 Joanna’s blog gained much popularity, and she decided to pay her full attention to the blog.
Presently Joanna’s blog has a viewership of 5 million monthly page views. ‘A Cup of Joe’ has become one of the most popular lifestyle blogs.
