In 2018, A video was shared about Mariam Hussien dancing provocatively with a rapper. Al Jasmi decided to file a complaint regarding the video ,and the Dubai Misdemeanor Court made a final decision without an appeal to deport Mariam Hussein from the United Arab Emirates, reduce her prison sentence from three months to one month after the case stayed between Saleh Al Jasmi and Mariam Hussein for almost a year. Despite the fact that Artist Ahlam does not have a personal relationship with Mariam, Ahlam felt that her humanity required her to intervene and asked Al-Jasmi to halt his attack. She expressed her sympathy for Maryam Hussein because she recognized that being imprisoned is difficult for a woman, especially when she has a child.
