Aimée Sayah has been passionate about the camera ever since she was a child, which helped her become a successful actress and TV host. Her dad used to film her episodes, which she presented, and her programs, for which she designed the setting, because he realized that she was more passionate about this field than any of her siblings. She switched to the department of Communication Arts after graduating from high school, one month before She was scheduled to begin her journey earning a medical degree. Journalism was her major, and theater was her minor. Aimée decided to pursue a master’s degree after graduation because she could not find work.Then, one day, her professor told her about a job at MTV Lebanon and suggested she get some work experience.She began presenting @MTV, a program for young people and teenagers, after sending her CV and attending several casting sessions. After that, Aimée began presenting the weather, and eventually, began presenting events. Five years later, She got the chance to play the lead role in a Lebanese television series called “Ashraqat al shams”.
She joined MBC at the end of February 2014 and began hosting The Voice and The Voice Kids. She was asked to host The Voice just two weeks after she quit her job at MTV; So, in the second season, she started as a co-host; in the third season, she became the only host, and now she also present The Voice Kids all by herself. She mentioned that children force you to connect emotionally with them, so she thinks her experience in the voice of a child was very great. “The kids in The Voice Kids push you to get involved with them emotionally. Competition is something really interesting, but children should be taught to have sportsmanship. I love the children who participated with us; I love them because they are spontaneous.” she shared.
Aimée stated that she enjoys both her roles as an actress and a television presenter.She misses hosting whenever she is acting, and she misses acting whenever she is hosting. “I love both, as when I am shooting a series, I miss hosting programs and when I host programs, I miss acting. That said, I feel that live shows have a special place in my heart.” Said Aimée. Being new to acting was challenging for her. she had never given it any consideration.Although she enjoyed acting and watching movies, she had never considered acting.During her time at university, She learned theater to overcome her natural shyness.Now that she love it, she sees it as a constant challenge and a chance to keep proving herself.
Beside her love to hosting and acting, Aimée loves fashion as well. Usually, She likes to feel comfortable. She always try to choose a look that looks like her on a daily basis. Not because she is not bold enough, but rather because she likes to be true to herself, which is why her style is very natural and simple. Even when it comes to beauty, she prefers to stay in her comfort zone and avoid cutting her hair. Like her fashion sense, she likes simple jewelry pieces. That is why she collaborated with Piaget Possession. Their collection attracted her with its soft colors and name as she is very possessive person in nature when it comes to love.
