Nicole, a 2013 Vicerine of the Chilean harvest festival, works as a psychologist. She is currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States, and is a native of Curico, Chile. Her blog, “sobreTacos,” is dedicated to her passions for cooking, writing, traveling, and fashion. She also openly admits that she adores shoes. She has always had a passion for journalism, and undertaking this project was one of the reasons she made the choice to do so—so that she could test her skills and grow on her own in this field that she finds so appealing. Her love of heels and her admirable walking technique are the inspiration for “Sobre Tacos.” In 2013, she participated in a beauty contest that takes place every year in Curicó. In it she got second place, obtaining the title of “Vicereine of the Harvest Festival of Chile” that year. This unique and unforgettable experience allowed her to participate in various social activities that enhanced her abilities and self-esteem, and where she met many people with different types of personalities and intentions.
Then, in 2014, she represented Curicó as a candidate for “Reina Fital” (an International Fair that was held until that year in the city of Talca), and despite leading the contest, she had to withdraw the night of the awards due to a strange poisoning that attacked her precisely that day, that did not even allow her to stand and that led her to inject serum in an emergency. These experiences in competitions, and my tastes indicated above, have been the main engine to realize this project. In it, she seeks to reflect everything she is and whatever she likes, hoping to transmit much of the learning that each pair of heels have given her, and not only in terms of walking correctly, but in something that goes beyond and that dazzles many more women every time they climb on a pair of heels.
Therefore, from her profession and psychological approach, she will collaborate to enhance self-esteem and self-love over social labels and stereotypes, continuously reinforcing the importance of accepting oneself, empowering her readers through these feminine themes that women like so much and that are a tool to value and trust us more. She invites you to enjoy her blog as much as she does when she writes on it. A blog focused on sharing her passion for heels with a touch of fashion, travel, lifestyle and inspiration. She is not an expert in heels, she has only created this space to capture and share my interests, in addition to her current adventure in the United States.
