Nikita Dragun, also known as NYC Dragun and Mama Dragun, is an American transgender entrepreneur, model, makeup artist, and beauty guru who currently serves as CEO of her own cosmetics line named “Dragun Beauty.” She is also a YouTube sensation. Dragun, who was born a man but has now come to identify as a woman, reportedly started wearing gowns at a young age. Dragun, a well-known FIDM alumnus, had a passion for media and marketing, a desire to create, and aspirations of owning a company brand. After signing up for YouTube, Dragun quickly became well-known for her vlogs, makeup tutorials, challenges, and, most notably, the motivational videos in which she was open about her transition from a man to a woman. She has amassed millions of followers on YouTube and Instagram over the course of time, turning into a social media sensation. Nikita Dragun, a transgender and LGBT activist, has become well-known among young people. She established her cosmetics company, “Dragun Beauty,” which targets both the mainstream market and the transgender community. Her makeup company offers a variety of items, including a face palette, a skin-perfecting potion, and a transformation kit.
On January 31, 1996, a kid named Nicholas Nguyen—Nikita Dragun—was born in Brussels, Belgium, to a Vietnamese father and a Mexican mother. Her parents’ names are unknown. Vin Carlo Nguyen is one of her brothers, and Taliah Nguyen Marriott and Allegrah Nguyen are her sisters. When it was claimed that Dragun lined up with the girls in her first physical education class and requested side cuts for the shorts she was wearing, her mother was the one who first noticed anything was off about Dragun. When she was younger, she enjoyed playing with dolls and wore dresses from an early age. She decided to change her gender after watching a documentary about transgender people, and by the time she was eight years old, she had already begun saving money for the procedure.
In a Forbes article, Nikita Dragun claimed that she was aware of her eccentricities but kept them to herself out of fear of embarrassment. Although she was dressed in tight pants, false eyelashes, and a little pocketbook when she started high school in Virginia, she quickly felt at home there. Dragun thought she was gay after she finished high school. Dragun won a full scholarship to attend New York University after high school, much to her parents’ astonishment, but instead chose to enroll in a community college. She only became trans after enrolling in college. In college, she came to the realization that she was a woman imprisoned in a male body, not a gay person. As she steadily developed her self-confidence as a woman, she came to the conclusion that the time was right to make the transition from male to female.
It appears that popularity increases with the number of controversies.
