YouTuber and influencer Noor stars, whose real name is Noor Naim, was born and raised in Syria. Before moving to Turkey, where she studied English at the British International School Istanbul, Stars spent her childhood and early adolescence in Damascus. Noor moved to the United States with her mother and siblings three years later, where she completed her secondary education.She is currently attending university to study business administration.
Noor has uploaded over 300 videos to her YouTube channel, which has received nearly 500,000 views. She had more than 350,000 new subscribers in 2016 and was ranked 47th on the Tubefilter Top 100 for the most new subscribers added in a single month. she has collaborated with KitKat, Pantene, and Bellami and created fun product integration videos in which she showcased her favourite products for her fans. Noor now has 19.7 million subscribers on her Youtube channel and 13.4 million followers on Instagram.
Starting of as a shy girl, Noor stars now is one of the biggest female content creators in the Arab World. You might ask yourself what is the secret behind her success ? Well She was the first female youtuber to start creating videos in arabic which was all new to the Arab World. She did a smart move by creating videos about different topics such as makeup, vlogs, challenges and many more as she can target everyone and especially Gen z. Her videos always has this unique sense of entertainment, fun and tons of positive energy. Her transparency ,crazy and unique personality as well made her fans love her and engage with her.
Noor starts has done alot of videos with many other known youtubers such as Movlogs and Huda beauty. Her video with Huda was very inspiring as they talked about how much they care about inspiring Arab women. Noor also mentioned her mum’s story, that she had to travel to three different countries on a wheelchair with three kids as a refugee. Noor takes her mum as a role model and I think we should take her as a role model too! Noor is very proud about her decision of creating videos and starting a Youtube channel to entertain people, as she thinks that she is representing Arab women and she loves supporting other women.
Her main goal with her youtube channel is to send a message for every women out there that everyone has her own unique style and personality and there is something so special about everyone, because she feels that we live in a society that every women are competing with each other. “women should support each other and greatly encourage each other” said Noor.
