Jessica Carrie Lee is a highly motivated student who loves her work and is involved in marketing, operations, brand creations and digital storytelling. Though she founded her own $500k company, freelance content creation for 100+ brands such as Hilton Hotels, Bose, Sephora, Uber, Ulta, Revolve and her work in numerous startups, she’s learned that her biggest motivator is seeing tangible impact because of her efforts. Jessica is a UCLA student, beauty and lifestyle editor and curator. She offers her worldwide audience curated fashion and beauty tips, as well as student hacks and personal stories. Throughout her career she’s had the fortunate experience of partnering with brands like Sephora, Revolve, Amazon, Sony and many more. She is the first to take over Colourpop Cosmetics and Ulta Beauty. She is a signed model for Google, Revlon, Fox, Paul Mitchell and many more. She is an upcoming, unreleased music under her name filmed with EXO & Girls Generation Members.
She has been awarded as Boba influencer by FOHR agency on Instagram. When she was growing up, she never saw anyone in media that looked like her representing an Asian ethnicity. But her dream was to be a model one day. She used to watch tutorials and practice catwalks in front of the mirror. It always seemed impossible until she conquered. She studied hard to get into UCLA for her professional career. At UCLA, she started her page on Instagram and documented her college days and journeys. Later, she moved to L.A. She loves curating fashion and beauty things, along with sharing tips and tricks to the students and her friends. According to her, “dreams really do come true”. She has worked with some of them and became an assigned model. She is always loyal to her followers and has a larger audience at UCLA. She is super proud of her career choice and very happy to be the first person and woman of color to take over @ccolorpopcosmetics in partnership with @ultabeuaty. Her relatable lifestyle can be seen on her social media page. It allows my audience to get to know me in real and trust me and my recommendations. This can be a great leading conversion for me.
“I love fitness and a recent highlight where I posted about being the first student to film with Biggest Loser in partnership with USA network. Some of the sustainable fashion examples attracted me and motivated me to work with Coachella x Contigo to ban plastic water bottles sales at Coachella 2020. I am a fashion lover and love experimenting with the looks. I have been one of the 10 Yearly Ambassadors featured on Eggie Shop, style icon Jenn Im’s brand which was my favorite”.
A recent skincare highlight was seen where Jessica was the first student to take the @revolvebeauty to share her skincare routine and thoughts on it. She loves taking care of her hairs and she believes in a good hair product. All these body and skin products she is associated with motivates her to work harder in her career more and more and her followers are proud of herself.
