Before returning to the region, Saudi tastemaker Reem Al Sanea lived in Orange County and completed her bachelor’s degree in sociology at Chapman University in California. While there, she volunteered at the Tiyya Foundation for refugees and new immigrants. She now splits her time between Bahrain and Khobar, but while she was away, she shared photos of her California lifestyle with her 885,000 Instagram followers, gaining a devoted following. “I believe it’s vital to have portrayal,” Al Sanea says. ” Burning through the greater part of my young life in the States, I didn’t see ladies who appeared as though me in the media – with thick eyebrows, dim hair, and large lips.” Because of this, she began to “reject” her appearance and came to believe that society wouldn’t consider her beautiful.
She admits, “I would do funny things like thin out my eyebrows and wear colored contact lenses. I used to dye my hair very light.” I’m happy young ladies can admire ladies who address them today. I have learned to accept the look I was given as I have gotten older. Not only do I want to produce content that people enjoy, but I also want to present a clear vision of confidence. “
Al Sanea describes her fashion as adorable and nonchalant. Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang are her two favorite designers. These brands really know how to design for a feminine woman with a masculine edge. The clothes fit so well. She wears a metallic Alexander Wang minidress in fire engine red with chain straps and a denim Helmut Lang mini skirt with a royal blue Prada T-shirt in her closet. She states, “I own more than 40 for sure,” when asked how many pairs of jeans make up the majority of her wardrobe. She also mentioned It’s the simplest item to put on. She wears corduroy jackets from Dutil Denim and Brandy Melville, in addition to Levi’s 505s, J Brand, 7 for All Mankind, Paige, and Frame.
Al Sanea asserts, “When I lived in Los Angeles, I didn’t go to Beverly Hills very often.” Instead, she would skateboard through Venice Beach, a few blocks from her home, or stroll down Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Al Sanea, who has amassed a collection of Vans Old Skool designs in signature black, asserts that the sneakers that are the best for skateboarding are Vans because they are flat. The Nike Air Force 1 is a classic that she adds to her collection. Because they have a cute little platform inside, you can wear them with anything, and they make you look taller. She will occasionally substitute designer heels for her skateboard wheels in order to eat spicy fusilli pasta at either Ago in West Hollywood or Jon & Vinny’s in Melrose. She admits, “Gianvito Rossi is hands down my favorite shoe designer.” He makes your foot look so gorgeous and female,” she said.
Al Sanea traveled to the south of France in one of the summers, visited her sister Hessah in London, and participated in a girls’ vacation to Mykonos. How did she make plans for her outfits ? She remarks, “Anything white against my tan is going to pop and look really good.” During a trip to New York City, she purchased a white minidress from Manning Cartell as well as a few scores from A.L.C., including the canary yellow Lita dress with its cascading layers. She declares, “I’m big on comfort, so I’m going to wear a lot of things that flow and breathe.” Dolce & Gabbana sandals in light pink crocodile with jewel details and easy-to-wear Bottega Veneta slides for the beach complete her look. “A large tote will be my summer bag. I have a traditional Goyard that can withstand all of my wear and tear and fits everything. Additionally, I will without a doubt acquire the Chanel bag with the sand before summer.” Her camel Hermès Picotin bag and neon yellow Givenchy Horizon bag will also be packed.
