Rachel Wong is widely regarded as one of the most influential people in the Beauty industry in Singapore.
Because of the dramatic difference in appearance between Rachel Wong and when she was younger, many people believe that she has undergone plastic surgery.
Rachel Wong, on the other hand, has undergone plastic surgery. However, she has had Botox and fillers in the past. Rachel has never had plastic surgery since she believes it to be a too-permanent solution.
When Rachel was in middle school, her classmates picked her on her dark complexion. Her classmates gave her the nickname “Clean & Clear” of the oil blotters she used to keep the shine on her skin under control. They excluded her from the group as well.
She had acne as a teenager and didn’t know how to treat it, but she still wanted to have some control over her life. Rachel’s weight was always something she was comfortable with; nevertheless, due to the bullying and acne, she developed an eating disorder.
Since then, she has been seeing a dermatologist regularly, which has helped her improve her complexion, which is now virtually flawless. In addition to this, she is no longer affected by an eating disorder. On the other hand, her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is still present.
She went to a psychiatrist on her initiative after being bullied at school and frustrated with her inability to achieve well academically.
At 17 or 18, she found herself in a challenging situation. Rachel was quite depressed and had suicidal tendencies at the same time.
Her diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) provided her with the means to embrace both her condition and her faults. Her sessions with a therapist also assisted her in loving herself despite her imperfections.
If one were to look at Rachel’s social media, one would never assume that she had a challenging time growing up. The breakthrough she needed to accept herself came when she was willing to open herself to a stranger, who happened to be a psychiatrist.
She has also, throughout her life, learned how to control her ADHD in various ways, such as by eating small meals frequently and frequently pausing when she is required to respond to emails. She expresses gratitude for having a career that allows her the flexibility to choose her work hours.
After watching Rachel advertise high-end things on various social media platforms, her followers have begun to speculate that she may benefit from other, more covert sources of income. She dispels the rumours by stating that she comes from a typical family. Rachel began modelling for blog shops when Rachel was 19 years old, and she has not relied on her parents financially since she was 19 years old. Everything that she owned was something that she had purchased for herself.
In the face of challenges, Rachel sought ways to overcome them instead of feeling sorry for herself. She developed as a result of her experiences, came up with inventive solutions to work around her limits, and even set aside her pride to preserve a friendship that was significant to her.
She is content with her single status for the time being and thrilled about the prospects ahead.
