Ravi Venkatesan is a great Indian business executive and venture capitalist who has been the chairperson of Microsoft India, head of the board of Bank of Baroda, and co-chairman of the council of Infosys. He is also the UNICEF Special Representative for Young People and Creation. Ravi Venkatesan is the Chairman of The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), established at COP26 with USD10 billion of perpetrated capital to accelerate investment in green energy transitions and renewable energy resolutions.

Ravi was the Chairman of Microsoft India, Bank of Baroda, and The Cummins India and was a co-chairman of Infosys Ltd. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and Harvard Business School. Ravi authored ‘What The Heck Do I Do With My Life: How To Flourish in Our Turbulent Times’ Conquering the Chaos: Win in India, Win Everywhere. He was also voted one of India’s best administration thinkers by Thinkers50 and Microsoft’s Alumni Hero 2020.

He has his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a master’s in Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ravi’s Accomplishments

Ravi’s achievements are countless. He is such a sport that his triumphs are more than enough to portray him & his hard work is currently a venture partner with Unitus Seed Fund. Before this role, Venkatesan has held numerous executive standings too. He is also UNICEF’s Special Representative for Young People and Invention and the Founder of the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME). He fits on the Boards of Rockefeller Foundation and Hitachi Ltd too.
