Beauty goes beyond the surface. Just ask Sarah Lahbati, one of the Philippines’ most attractive celebrities.
Sarah Lahbati is a Filipino model and actress. She is also a mom of two kids and a wife of Richard Guttierez, a Filipino actor, model, and host.
She had all the fair-share challenges, battles, and tribulations she had faced, ranging from her uncomfortable youth to her unsure adolescent years to motherhood, like everyone else. She also discussed the victories she had experienced in overcoming self-doubt and the lessons Sarah has learned that have aided in making her the self-assured woman she is today.
She is now known as an empowered woman, a mother in her year.
In a latest and viral Instagram post, Sarah revealed her stretchmarks and said it took years for her to embrace her stretch marks as her ‘best tattoos’.
Actress Sarah Lahbati is well aware that women have long concealed stretch marks on their bodies because she has done so for many years. But the mother of two wrote on Instagram on January 26 that she was learning to love it.
“To love me fully. To fully accept me. I’ve always been ready to give all of me to my loved ones but never poured that same cup to myself.”
Sarah said it took her a long time to accept that the stretch marks were her “best tattoos.”
“[ This is ] a reminder that I am a strong and resilient woman whose been through a lot but most importantly, I’ve given birth to my two dearest sons, Zion and Kai. My angels. I am loved, understood & cherished by my husband. I couldn’t ask for anything more,” she said.
She also told her followers to embrace their imperfections, most especially women.
Although improving oneself is never easy because we are only human and fall short of perfection. Women and men should learn to accept and appreciate who they are before even considering others, as cliche as that may sound. We can learn to love others and the people around us once we have learnt to embrace ourselves, even with our physical and emotional flaws.
