His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the third president of UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi. He was elected on Saturday 14th May 2022 by decision of their highnesses, the members of the Federal Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates. Since 2004, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has led Abu Dhabi Executive Council. From 2004 to 2022, he was Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. He had previously held the position of Deputy Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Before becoming Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, he also held the position of Chief of Staff from 1993 to 2005.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is well-known for his love of falconry and hunting, which his father instilled in him. He is also very interested in poetry, especially the Nabati style, which is from the area. He shows commitment to the community’s cultural, artistic, literary, and innovation-based initiatives by regularly sponsoring poetry competitions and other events. He also follows a number of sports in the United Arab Emirates and regularly pays tribute to Emirati athletes’ accomplishments.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is known by his humbleness and his care about his people. He has established this conviction among everyone, through his consistent honest communication with people wether citizens or residents on various occasions, whether public or personal, and assure them that he follows them and is proud of what they offer.
During Covid-19 crisis, he demonstrated his noble humanitarian approach and supported the health sector of the UAE and the entire world. He has reassured the UAE citizens and residents by saying ” Don’t worry” and that the country has enough supplies of food and medicines to address the challenge of Covid-19 pandemic. This has send a lot of positivity to UAE citizens and residents’ hearts.
One of the honest situations that reflected how caring and close his highness is to his people is his phone call with the Emirati young women, Huda Al Matroushi, the owner of the car repair shop, who chose a job usually possesed by men and decided to break into this field. she was surprised by a phone call by his highness to ask about her and her family and apologize about his late call, then show his support and reassure her that everyone is proud of her achievement.
Despite the great responsibilities of his highness, He cares about the young before the old through direct communication and not through intermediaries, and he visited Aisha Al Mazrouie’s home and kissed her hands, when his highness knew after the end of the reception ceremony for the Saudi Crown Prince, that he did not notice her when she extended her hand to shake hands with his highness. And this represents the most wonderful examples of extreme humility and excessive humanity.
Recently, His highness posted about Teacher’s day and greeting all the teachers about this day with beautiful words saying “Teachers remain the bedrock of our education system and will be at the forefront of its development. I was pleased to meet with education professionals from across the UAE to discuss their vital role in continuing our nation’s journey, as they guide and shape the next generation that will drive our future progress”.
