Model for commercial and print work, fashion designer, painter, VJ, professional makeup artist, actress, and singer Solenn Marie Heussaff-Bolzico is of Filipino and French descent.
Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown, broadcast from August 30 to December 3, 2010, included Solenn Heussaff as one of its official castaways. She reached the Top Three. She inked music deals with MCA Universal Philippines, cinema deals with Regal Entertainment, and television deals with GMA Artist Center in December 2010.
The second child of Louis Paul Heussaf, a former French Marine of Breton and Celtic ancestry and current leader of a service company for the petroleum industry, and Cynthia Adea, a Filipina, is Solenn Heussaf. She has a younger brother named Erwan and a sister named Vanessa.
She is a versatile actress, which only includes her life outside the movies. She credits living a healthy lifestyle for how she manages to maintain her glowing beauty despite her hectic schedule.
She is a traveller, entrepreneur, artist, wife, mommy & actress! Though, she never considered showbiz as a career path.
But even before he rose to fame in show business, Solenn was a member of the industry. Solenn worked as a makeup artist for celebrities in between her employment as a designer for Lulu Tan-Gan.
Her most noteworthy customers were the brothers Raymond and Ruffa Gutierrez, who subsequently persuaded Solenn to apply for Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown, a Philippine counterpart of the hit American reality series Survivor.
The program was going on its third season at the time, in 2010. Richard Gutierrez, Ruffa’s brother, was supposed to be the show’s host. Solenn thought about the chance and initially intended to participate “for fun.”
Nevertheless, the French-Filipina actress gained notoriety by acting in a dazzling array of national and international film and television productions. But Solenn is more than just a gorgeous face; she also devotes much of her creative time to painting, which she views as her true calling.
She paints poorly, like most painters. To gently remove dirt, pollutants, and dullness and expose the brightness within.
In 2018, Solenn experienced her first international art exhibit in Miami, Florida.
Four of her paintings were showcased at the 15th annual Palm Beach Jewelry, Art, & Antique Show.
The exhibit is considered the “largest and most important show of its kind in the United States.”
Love of her life
In 2011, Solenn met her future husband, Nico Bolzico.
The Argentinean businessman had just arrived in the Philippines and did not intend to stay. But that changed when he met Solenn.
Three years into their relationship, Nico proposed to Solenn, and she said yes.
The couple first had a “celebration of the union” in Argentina in December 2015. They then held their wedding on May 21, 2016, in Brittany, France.
Three years into their marriage, Nico and Solenn welcomed their daughter Thylane on January 1, 2020.
Solenn, who is caring for her daughter Tili, explains. Any mom will feel the effects of all that work, but she makes up for it by taking some time for herself at the end of the day. She said, “I had to adjust my lifestyle ever since I became a mom, but I wouldn’t change a thing,”
“Motherhood is tougher on the skin than most people think. The hormonal changes gave me dark patches and melasma during pregnancy,” adds Solenn.
Their family is now expecting a member of the family as Solenn is currently pregnant with their second baby.
