Mikael Daez, an actor and host, has posted a newly made Instagram clip showcasing the raw footage from his and Megan Young’s wedding. In the video, Daez and Young are reminiscing about their former experiences together.
The reel includes some adorable vignettes from their wedding day and a lovely rendition of a song that was used prominently in the popular Korean drama series Our Beloved Summer.
Mikael explains in the commentary that “Two significant events took place that led to the creation of this video. To begin, I could locate my hard drive, where I had stored all of the raw films from our wedding, inside my tech bag. While going through the data, I got the idea to construct a highlight reel on the fly.
“Second, and more importantly, I just finished watching my first full k-drama, Our Beloved Summer! I LOVED IT! I loved everything about it from the story, to the characters, to Kim Da Mi and of course, the soundtrack,” he further explains.
After completing the romantic Korean drama, Mikael decided to create a “kilig-inducing” reel. This film was intended to make the Miss World 2013 competition feel more emotional. He writes, “Fresh from the rom-com vibes. You get a cheesy reel created from the aftermath of my first k-drama experience 😀 FYI, so many wonderful raw videos from the wedding.” He refers to the aftermath of his first encounter with a Korean drama. I will build more reels over time.
Having kids
Megan Young and Mikael Diaz discussed their sentiments about having a baby in the most recent edition of their podcast. Couples held the same opinion when it came to the subject at hand.
His wife revealed that even though she has been asked about being pregnant numerous times, she maintains that she is always ready to offer her honest answer about it.
“I would respond to those queries by saying that if we have children, then we do have children. If we don’t, we don’t. She said, “If I get pregnant, everything will be OK, but if it doesn’t happen, then we will just live our lives.”
The woman who won Miss World in 2013 is at ease when publicly expressing that they do not feel the need to have any children at all. Their attitude toward having children is that they are willing to do anything that comes their way, regardless of the consequences.
“If by some chance there’s a mistake and you end up pregnant, we won’t hold it against you; that’s not a problem for us.” Mikael continued, saying, “But if we had a choice, then we’re comfortable with just coasting along, enjoying our existence, and seeing what life throws at us.”
The couple was also aware of the possibility that some individuals would be taken aback whenever they revealed their response.
The conversation continued with Megan stating, “I guess it’s not normal or it’s not like a common thing for couples to be like, ‘Yeah, we’re fine even if we don’t have kids.’ Usually, it’s like, ‘Yeah, we’re trying,’ or ‘Yeah, we want to have kids,’ or sometimes, ‘Maybe like in the next couple of years,'” Megan said.
Because Mikael’s wife is the one who must face the responsibility of carrying their child for nine months, he will always back any decision she makes regarding their child.
We should go with the flow, and Bonez should make the final decision. Because, as you pointed out, you are the one carrying the infant, and all I’m doing here is letting them know that I’m here to assist them,” Mikael continued.
The couple revealed in 2021 that they had no immediate plans to start a family since they were more interested in pursuing their careers and seizing the possibilities that came their way. In a prior conversation, the couple mentioned that one of their goals was to, first and foremost, have pleasure in their married life together.
