Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, known mononymously as Ebuka, is a famous Nigeria lawyer, Television Host, presenter, and a previous Big Brother Naija housemate. Ebuka is understood for hosting numerous seasons of the Big Brother Naija show, for which he has gained praise. He is the reputable host of the long-running talk show “Rubbin’ Minds” on Channels TV and of the long-running talk show co-host of “The Spot” and “Men’s Corner” on Ebonylive TV.
Ebuka is the ambassador for numerous brands in Nigeria, inclusive of Budweiser Nigeria, Samsung Nigeria, Pork Money, and 2Sure Nigeria. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, in , 1982. He celebrated his 40th birthday in July 2022. Ebuka completed his basic education in the mid-western Nigerian city of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. From Primary four, the bright student passed his Common Entrance Examination into secondary school. He later moved from Edo State to the capital of Nigeria, Abuja with his family For his high school education, Ebuka attended Christ The King College Abuja and graduated in 1997. He studied at the University of Abuja and finished in 2004, then he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja. He completed in 2005 and went back to school after a 5-year working gap He graduated from the Washington College of Law of the American University, Washington D.C, in December 2010 with Master’s Degree with
specializations in Intellectual Property and Communication law.
Ebuka and his spouse Cynthia uchendu have two daughters named Jewel and Rubi. Big Brother Naija 2018 host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has revealed that controversial housemate, Cee-c insulted him during her stay in the reality show. Ebuka told Beat FM,, that Cee-c claimed he was her role model and wanted to be like him however modified her thoughts after he puzzled her at the Tv show. The host disclosed that Cee-c, who was regarded for not being nice to guests in the house insulted him while he asked her a question.
He stated “she slightly insulted me when I asked her assertion that different housemates are not in her level. Cee_cee told a fellow house mate khloe that she don’t need him to be her role version anymore. Khloe requested who, she stated “that one who is always asking me questions anyhow”. I observed that as offensive, I’m only doing my job Ebuka stated.
He has, finally spoke back to calls on social media for him to get replaced as the programme host. Critics of BBNaija had requested the organizers to shop a woman to anchor the TV show. Obi-Uchendu, who was a former BBNaija housemate, has been hosting the programme for three years. A twitter user wrote: “Why can’t a woman host BBN?” Why can’t BBN have double hosts?” There aren’t any guidelines anywhere. “Also, no one is taking anybody’s job. The post sparked outrage on social media with many Nigerians and different lovers of the reality Tv show protecting the host. Obi Uchendu, who spoke back to the controversy on his Twitter handle, thanked the people who came to his defense, ” I love you guys”.
