Al-Kandari is a Kuwaiti artist, about 31 years old, as she was born on the fifth of May 1991, inside the Arab Republic of Egypt after her family emigrated from Kuwait following the Gulf War, but her family soon returned to their home immediately after the end of the war.

In 2020, The Kuwaiti actress Somoud Al-Kandari surprised her fans by announcing her retirement from acting and her decision not to appear in any upcoming series. Somoud Al-Kandari announced her retirement from acting on Snapchat, stating that things are not going well overall. She added, “In any case, I will disappear for the duration of the following years and the years after that.”Somoud, on the other hand, will continue working in production because she will not be a part of any casts in the future.

The Kuwaiti actress said that she is retiring from acting for other reasons she must devote her time to, but she did not specify which ones. Somoud insisted that she gained admiration and love throughout her 13 years of acting. She ended by expressing her hope that everyone enjoyed her various roles throughout her career. In 2020, the Kuwaiti actress appeared in Ramadan of the “Haya Wa Akhawatiha” series. which was her last appearance.

Alkandari surprised her Snapchat followers a few hours later by posting a video of a sonogram next to a pair of baby shoes.
