Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie April 2022 stormed the Nigerian internet after he posted a photo of himself and his new baby boy along with his 2nd wife, Judy Austin, who is an actress. You might be wondering who this is, but not to worry, you will be acquainted with him in not less than 5 minutes!. Yul Edochie was named after Russian actor, Yul Brynner (real name Yuliy Borisovich Briner who died on October 10, 1985.
The Nigerian actor, Yul, although hails from Anambra State was raised both in Lagos and Enugu State in Nigeria. He is the last child of the Nollywood mega-celebrity Pete Edochie. If you read my last blog, you should be able to know who Pete Edochie is, Yul Edochie’s father, Pete Edochie is considered as many Nollywood fans as the King of African proverbs, mainly for his special roles in movies. He plays a whole lot of roles as a king however his son Yul Edochie has stepped into the same shoes, his complete name is Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie. Yul attended Lillians’ Day Nursery School and Robinson Street Primary School, Enugu between 1984 and 1992, He proceeded to Marist Brothers’ Juniorate, Uturu; University Secondary School Enugu, Ecumenical Community Secondary School Enugu and New Haven Boys Secondary School Enugu between 1992 and 1998 for his Secondary school training. His college training was at the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort), where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.
He attended the University of PortHarcourt Nigeria, where he acquired a bachelor of arts in Drama Arts. Yul Edochie Joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first movie titled The Acquires alongside Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He got his smash in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the film Wind Of Glory. In 2015, Yul opened a film academy in Lagos. The academy offers gifted human beings the possibility to be delivered to the Nigerian Film Industry to showcase their talents. On 14 July 2017, Edochie declared his purpose to run for Governor of Anambra State. This assertion turned was made in anticipation of a now not too young to run bill exceeded with the aid of the senate of the federal government of Nigeria.
The assertion was however made professional on the 22 of August 2017, whilst he picked up the nomination shape of the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC) political birthday party and became eventually the flag bearer and gubernatorial candidate of the celebration to run for governor of Anambra State.
