Influencer Danielle Bernstein who is quite a millennial now has her own fashion line named ‘we wore what’ where she styles her own dresses. She started her journey when she was just 18-year-old. After completing her studies from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the discovery of her website “WeWoreWhat” took place. Her style is inspired by the New York style. 
She is also the owner of some of the small businesses like ‘The Great Eros’ and ‘Foundrae’ that accused her of plagiarism. She was caught copying some of their designs. This led her to receive negative SMS from her fans. She even collaborated with Lulu DK, and she was accused of copying their jewelry designs. The designs were exclusively cherry-picked by her. Bernstein had a different story to tell. According to her, her designs are inspired by her late grandfather. She got into a feudal dispute with a seller who exposed her unreleased dress samples which caused a lot of fury. In 2020, many critics claimed she was stealing the design exactly the same.
She was meant to take inspiration. She chose not to respond to the trollers instead it is still there on her website. She believes in challenges as it helps to bring out the best in her. That’s not all, she even claimed to be planning to remake the ‘vintage’ look shorts which are actually based out of an Australian Etsy shop. What does Bernstein feel like receiving so much backlash on her fashion sense? Some of the biggest fashion brands accused her of stealing their designs. How much reality there is solely confined to Bernstein. Even when she exposed herself wearing the mask designs netizens were quick to pick the similarities. Looks like Bernstein and controversy goes hand in hand. When a person becomes a celebrity criticism is likely to happen and that is one of the symbols of him being famous.
