What kind of life do you imagine for yourself? Well, if you haven’t asked this question to yourself at least once in your life, then truly, you must either be ignorant or you are lost, dude. If you get too attached to life, you’d get lost in the vagaries, the constant ups, and downs, all the turmoils. One could hardly get time for himself and ponder life in a creative way. Creativity is an indistinguishable part of life, if you are creative in life, the positivity will come from the inside. Lars Olsen Jr followed this mantra in life which led him to follow his profession of photography, and indeed photography is creative in itself. Something creative that you can do in a different way from others gives you identity, you are known by the very thing.
Lars considers himself to be an “Outdoors & nature enthusiast”, I think you can get an insight from his statement, what he really means by Outdoor & nature enthusiast. Lars is primarily into Aurora chasing and photography. Aurora is a light display in the sky caused when incoming energetic particles from the sun collide with gas molecules in a planet’s upper atmosphere. Earth’s aurora borealis is a popular example of it which is also known as the “northern lights”. Norway is known for its northern lights, tourists from all around the globe visit in November in the winter season to witness this beautiful phenomenon.
The peak season for observing northern lights is between “September and March”. It is observable on long and dark nights in the winter season. Lars frequently sets out in the middle of the night to capture beautiful pictures and to witness the most epic aurora sightings. Lars was fond of photography since his teenage years, back then he used to click pictures with his small camera, which sometimes he was allowed to use. He was fond of treks and camping and frequently went trekking and camping with his friends. When he first did it, he was not even expecting it to be such a life-changing experience, that he will be gripped by that very feeling for his life and he will constantly be looking for treks in those beautiful mountain ranges and chasing that very feeling which he had experienced once. In life so much has changed for him, but one thing that’s still the same is his love for aurora lights in the night sky. He considers this to be the most important thing in his life, he loves the life he lives just because of this very fact, this experience.
