Al Mulla stated in an interview, “I’ve always envisioned my wedding to be intimate, ethereal, and unique.” However, despite the fact that the designer’s wedding appeared to be the ideal event for posting on Instagram, she had to deal with many of the issues that pandemic brides around the world have faced over the past two years. After getting engaged during the pandemic, the idea of having a wedding in a different country naturally emerged. After that, everything went well, which convinced me that it was meant to be in Italy.
Al Mulla was forced to work on her label with sister Nesreen Al Mulla while simultaneously remotely coordinating one of her most significant life events due to the constraints imposed by Covid-19. She shared, “I have planned the wedding myself from Dubai.” I’m extremely enthusiastic about subtleties, and wouldn’t be open to recruiting somebody to do it for me, particularly since I knew precisely exact thing I need. I have had a reliable mood board and direction to follow. The process, the good times, the planning, the coordination, and the exhaustion have all been enjoyable for me. The ensemble’s voluminous silhouette created a fairytale-like effect, making it ideal for a regal ceremony, and the wrist-length sleeves were shaped like balloons for a modest touch. The bride topped it all off with a diamond necklace, earring, and ring set made to look like flower petals.
