Ingredients 1 and 1/2 cup coarse semolina or fine, or mixture of both 1/2 cup flour 1 tablespoon turmeric 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup Olive oil 1 cups milk 1 cup brown sugar 1-2 tablespoons butter to grease the pan, can be replaced with oil Handful of pine nuts or almonds Instructions Preheat the oven to 375ºF and grease a 9" baking pan with butter or other oil. Mix the dry ingredients (semolina, flour, turmeric and baking powder) together in a large bowl. Mix the wet ingredients (olive oil, milk and brown sugar) in another small bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved in the mixture. Combine the dry and wet ingredients until batter is smooth and bright yellow. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and sprinkle the pine nuts all over. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the almonds are golden. Add condensed milk to it and beat till it is light and fluffy. •Next sieve all rice flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix everything well. •Next add vinegar, vanilla essence, milk and beat again to form a smooth lump free batter. •Add desiccated coconut n mix well. •Pour the cake batter in greased tin, and steam on medium-high heat for 40–50 minutes. •Once done check the cake with a toothpick. If it comes out clean the cake is perfectly steamed. •Let the cake cool down completely. Steamed rice cake is ready, cut in slices and serve! Notes: •You can make the cake in either the steamer or kadhai. •Check whether the cake is complete or not with a toothpick a couple of times in between, as the time to make the cake varies sometimes and it may be done before the said timing. ❤️ For Red Mirror Glaze INGREDIENTS (Mirror Glaze): •1 Cup White Chocolates •1/2 Cup Cream •1/2 Cup Nutral Gel (Glaze Gel) •4-5 drops of Red gel colour •1–2 drops of White gel colour METHOD: •Take White Chocolate and Cream in a pan. Switch on the flame and cook it till chocolate melts. Be careful while working with White Chocolate, stir it continuously otherwise the Chocolate will be burn. •After mixing all ingredients well than switch off the flame and stir it well. Let it cool down for a while. •Now strain the Chocolate Mixture and remove any chocolate particles from it. Now keep a side for cooling. •When the Chocolate mixture is luke warm then add Nutral Gel in it and mix it well. •Now divide Mirror Glaze in bowl and add gel colour according your requirements. But today I'm making single Colour mirror glazed cake, so I'm using Red gel colour only. •Ready Icing Cake at least 4 hours before and freeze in Freezer. •Now place a tin on the plate and place the ready freezed cake on the tin. •Now start Mirror Glaze Icing, first pour Mirror glaze icing from the sides and then move towards the center of the cake. If it comes out clean the cake is perfectly baked. Let the cake cool down completely meanwhile make the chocolate ganache. In a saucepan take heavy cream and just bring it to boil. Pour the cream over dark chocolate and leave it undisturbed for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes mix untill smooth chocolate ganache is formed. Once the cake has cooled down pour the chocolate ganache over the cake. Garnish with chocolate flower and Chocolate Vermicelli. Eggless chocolate cake is ready cut in slices and serve!
