A group of people sailing in the Bay of Bengal to capture fishes. This scene was captured near Chennai, or to say exactly at Chennai in a place called Kasimedu, a place of fishes it meant in local by Tamilnadu people. I am writing this blog in order to make you people aware of the struggles they face in normal days and that too in this pandemic. Normal days will be a bit harder for them because, you know Bay of Bengal is bit aggressive, so returning shore on time is a struggle there. "We used to take boats only in the dark early morning like 3:00 am, then only the sea mother would be calm and as we start it begins the sun rise. We just have a Mechanical Refrigerators - to store fishes, A Battery powered GPS system, And a Radio frequency Detector. So we can't guarantee the time we return to shore. Only Sea Madha know it" says Arumugan, a daily fisherman. In these quarantine days they lost their livelihood. But still hoping to catch those small fishes near the shore to make the days pass by. #fisherman #photography #storiesinseas #mobilephotography #indiancoasts #fishing
