Pizza ? = Happiness ? When I recently stepped out at @pizzadeliziagoa to experience dining at their newly opened cafe at Arpora, I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The food that comes from their kitchen is something I have always admired, but the calmness of this place during this over sensitive COVID period was something that I truly loved. The place is safe to eat with all precautions in place without being paranoid and this is what excited me the most. Colourful Rice Flour Cheelas ❤️?? Chawal Ka Cheela (Rice Pan Cake) is made with rice flour. It is a very easy and light dish. It can be made in a jiffy if you just have rice flour in your pantry. This is a kind of instant rava dosa but very different in taste. U can add some vegetables to make it more healthier. INGREDIENTS: Rice flour – 1 cup Beetroot juice–1/2 cup Capsicum (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp Onions (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp Green chilli (finely chopped) – 2 Green peas–2 tbsp Sweet corn–2 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp Salt and black salt – to taste Oil as required For yellow colour cheela add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder in 1/2 cup rice flour. For Green colour cheela add 4 tbsp green chutney in 1/2 cup rice flour. METHOD: •Take rice flour in a bowl •Add all the ingredients and make a smooth flowing consistency. •Heat a non stick pan and sprinkle some oil •Pour 1–2 tbsp of batter and spread it by moving the girdle •Don’t use spatula to spread the batter •Cook from both sides until crisp and golden brown •Serve with favorite chutney or sauce. ? Crispy Shell Pasta ? Ingredients– 400 gms pasta 1/2 cup corn flour 1/2 cup all purpose flour Oil for deep frying 1 ½ tsp roasted red chili powder 1 tsp roasted cumin powder 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp chaat masala 1 tsp amchur powder 1 tsp/or to taste black salt Method– Cook pasta according to packet instructions. (Cook pasta till 80 to 90% done) Add corn flour and all purpose flour in cooked pasta. Mix well. Transfer it in a sieve, remove the excess flour. Heat oil on medium high heat in deep frying pan. Line a tray with kitchen paper for draining fried pasta chips. Once oil turns hot, add cooked pasta one by one into oil for deep frying. Fry the cooked pasta in the oil until light golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes. Remove to the paper towel-lined tray to drain and season with roasted chili powder, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, amchur powder and black salt while it’s still hot. Allow them to cool completely and store in an air tight container.
