#worldenvironmentday ?️ “One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken.” “The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.” With the world fighting a pandemic together and most countries in lockdown, the environment seems to have benefited slightly. Nature seems to have been busy reclaiming its spaces. Among other things, it is getting to breathe and clean itself a little, in the absence of the constant flurry of human activities. Why is that important? It is, because just like other things, the environment needs some downtime, too. And human beings anyway have a tendency to take everything for granted, including the resources they get from nature. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the sun rays that reach us, and the food that we consume every day, are all gifts from the environment, and as such, it becomes important that they are respected, their values understood. World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5, to remind people to not take nature for granted, and to read the signs, understand them, and act accordingly. It is one of the biggest annual events in the world run by the United Nations to raise awareness among people. It is believed that the day was designed by the UN General Assembly in the year 1972, on the first day of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment. #environmentday #nature #savenature #foodart #foodaddiction #uzmaseasyrecipes #creatorshala
Read More#ripelephant ?? A pregnant wild elephant in Kerala’s Silent Valley Forest fell victim to an act of human cruelty after a pineapple filled with powerful crackers offered by a man exploded in her mouth when she chomped on it, a senior forest officer said here on Tuesday. “Her jaw was broken and she was unable to eat after she chewed the pineapple and it exploded in her mouth. It is certain that she was offered the pineapple filled with crackers to eliminate her.” “Maybe animals are less wild and humans less human. What happened with that elephant is heartbreaking, inhumane and unacceptable!” “From anybody who throws stones at a stray dog to anybody hurting a living soul, choose one face. A lot of these animals trust human beings because they have been helped by them in the past. This is cruel beyond measure. When you lack empathy and kindness, you do not deserve to be called a human being. To hurt someone is not human.” “Until the guilty are punished in the worst possible way, these wicked monsters will never fear the law. Though it’s a difficult task, I hope they are able to find out the one who committed this crime and punish them accordingly.” #punishanimalabusers #stopanimalcruelty #stopanimalabuse #petadoption #stopanimalsabuse #stopanimaltorture #elephant #babyelephant #sosad #heartbreaking #kerela #kerelaelephants #unhuman #stopkillinganimals #yesindia #theuncommonbox #wahhindia #uzmaseasyrecipes #foodaddiction #animal #animals #animalabuse #animalabuseawareness #foodart #peta #shotoneplus #creatorshala #foodbloggerofindia #animallovers

World No Tobacco is observed every year with a different theme to keep up with a constant magnitude of change that the campaign requires over the years. “Protecting youth from industry manipulation and preventing them from tobacco and nicotine use” is the theme for World Tobacco Day 2020. Consumption of tobacco causes several diseases including cancer, tuberculosis, respiratory problems and cardiovascular diseases. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), people who consume tobacco regularly are more vulnerable to the dreadful coronavirus. In a statement, the WHO has said that coronavirus primarily attacks lungs and smoking impairs lung function making it harder for the body to fight the dreadful infection and urged smokers take immediate steps to quit tobacco. “Tobacco is also a major risk factor for non-communicable diseases like cardiovascular disease, cancer, respiratory disease and diabetes which put people with these conditions at higher risk for developing severe illness when affected by COVID-19. Available research suggests that smokers are at higher risk of developing severe disease and death,” it has said. Meanwhile, a Chinese study published in February 2020 has claimed that 25 per cent of the 1,099 COVID-19 patients admitted at a hospital were smokers and claimed that tobacco users were getting severe respiratory symptoms due to the absence of cilia in their airway. Another research has claimed that coronavirus enters body by attaching itself to the ACE2 receptors, adding that smoking can increase the levels of ACE2 receptors in the body. However, a French study published by Pitié-Salpêtrière has claimed that smokers may be less prone to suffer to the highly contagious coronavirus. However, researchers believe that the theory needs to go through several trials. #notobaccoday #nosmoking #foodphotography #uzmaseasyrecipes

Read More???? Happy Family Day ???? Every year, May 15 is celebrated as the International Day of Families. The day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 with the aim to highlight the importance attached to families by the international community. According to the UN, “This day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase the knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families.” Families come in many forms and sizes and under different circumstances, but what they all share is unconditional love and support for those growing on the same family tree. From nuclear family units to extended clans, families can drive us crazy and make life worth living. Basically probably the most treasured and lovely reward given by God is our family. Love them, respect them and treasure them as they’re the rationale for our smile and happiness. Happy International Family Day to you! Having a place to go — is a home. Having someone to love — is a family. Having both — is a blessing. *Family is like branches on a tree. We all grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one. #internationalfamilyday #familyday #nationalfamilyday #worldfamilyday #family #together #unity #jointfamily #nuclearfamily #lovemyfamily #foodaddiction #uzmaseasyrecipes #creatorshala
