It is just the mindset of sick people who think that having fair complexion is beautiful but having a dark skin colour is a curse. Skin complexion is totally based upon the environment and genes. Where the Sun heat is strong, people have dark skin and they need more sunlight to get enough vitamin D from the Sun. The light skin people are more prone to get skin cancer where dark people have less chances. Just like we get our lives, family, religion, gender and caste as gifts of God, the same way we also get face, body, and skin colour so we should respect the nature's gift for one another, nobody should disrespect or hate anyone by their skin colour.
