What is happening in this country? Rape there, domestic violence here. Murder there, hitting here. Its not only women who are being raped but men are also being raped but those cases aren't being showcased in India only the rape against women has been showing in the stats. Why? Why does that happen? Men find different reasons to rape these women or do domestic violence on them. What are the reasons you may ask? the reasons are (according to men): 1. girls wear short clothes 2. they hang out at odd times. 3. dowry is not given 4. talks back 5. goes in wrong neighborhood 6. goes out into the world at a wrong age 7. girls get raped because they follow western culture 8. Man is allowed to do anything but not the woman. 9. she drinks and smokes But the real reasons are of rape are: 1. forcefully touching the woman in public transport 2.Objectifying the body of the women in front of other male colleges 3. the guy had desires to be fulfilled. (according to men) 4. According to men, the girls are having sex with their boyfriends but become a drama queen when it comes to other men. 5. according to men, after marriage, he is allowed to force himself on his wife And the main reasons for domestic violence are: 1 stalking and battering include dissatisfaction with the dowry and exploiting women for more of it, arguing with the partner, refusing to have sex with him, neglecting children, going out of home without telling the partner, not cooking properly or on time, indulging in extra marital affairs, not looking after in-laws, more income of a working woman than her partner, her absence in the house till late night, abusing and neglecting in-laws, being more forward socially etc. Why? Why don't you treat her with respect? She is the one who makes up the civilization. She is the one who has 9 months extra relationship with your child because she gives 9 months to your child to grow and fully nurture before giving birth. Treat and respect her with dignity.
