Never Expected: “Self- Care” Becoming the most searched Query in Google From having a routine that was as fast-paced and unrelenting, to a world which is at standstill amid social distancing and lockdowns. It was almost as if we had forgotten what it meant to slow down and just look after ourselves. Finally, a pandemic made us think and introspect that we need to slow down and take care of our minds and body. I can confidently say this because ‘self-care’ is at a record high in terms of google search over the past couple of weeks followed by breathing exercises, virtual meditation, relaxation and peaceful playlist. From Google trends of Stress to Self-care It really time to incorporate little changes and pamper yourself to get some well-deserved care, be it by getting enough rest, eating suppers on schedule, or even pursuing a long lost hobby. Utilize this opportunity to reconnect not just with people, but yourself too! As we have all grown habitual of turning to Google for all our queries. I would say we should turn to it again and ask “What should I do for Self-care?”
