When we hear of caves, suddenly a word appears is “scary” but some caves are like a fantasy and bear a great treasure within. Pataleshwar Cave Temple contains a beautiful treasure of ancient era. This protected heritage place is carved out of a single rock and is a magnificent monolithic creation right in the heart of the city! It is also knwn as Panchaleshwar or Bhamburde Temple. According to the legends, the temple was built in just a few hours by the Pandavas when they were out in the exile to form a shelter to live and rest. There are seating arrangements for tourists inside the small temple rooms. It have been designed to perfection so you can sit leisurely while marveling at the true grandeur that the temple is!
