The film is based on the life of badminton player Saina Nehwal. It stars Parineeti Chopra who will play the role of Nehwal. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor had signed the film to play Nehwal’s role, Parineeti Chopra was picked for the role of Saina Nehwal after Shraddha Kapoor opted out of it due her date issues and back-to-back projects. Actress is doing all the rigorous activities including gymming, practicing in net among others to get into the shoes of Saina Nehwal for the film. Parineeti has borrowed some of saina's cloths for the biopic to get into the skin of the character that she's playing. The actress got tour of the Sania's house too. The film is slated to release early 2020.
