Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

Hyaluronic Acid is not a secret skincare ingredient anymore and almost every skincare brand uses this formulation. I bought this gel along with the toner and serum from the same range from Neutrogena and while I'm still undecided on how I feel about the latter two, this hydro boost gel has become a lifesaver in so many ways!! 1) As part of daily skincare: First and foremost, Hyaluronic Acid has incredible powers to retain moisture, that being said, you have to have some moisture on your skin before you apply this or it becomes effectively useless. I use my toner, serum, targeted skin cream(s), wait for the skin cream to set and then spritz my face with a bit of rose water face mist (regular water should work just fine) before ending my regime with this gel, thereby locking in all active ingredients. It glides on the face, has little smell, and feels like you've put nothing on. PRO TIP: Avoid using this on the T-bone, especially the nose. 2) Lazy days: We all have days when we don't have the energy for extensive skincare, are in a hurry, or plain lazy. On such days, simply step out of the shower but don't dry off your face with the towel. Clear out excessive moisture with your fingers and while your skin is moist, put a generous amount of this gel on. Cheat code 101 to fab skin in no time. 3) As a makeup base/primer: Foundation glides and sets beautifully over this gel. Conclusion: Multipupose product that will quench your thirsty skin. I have dry skin and I am using my fourth tub.
