The Boys is looking to change all. Amazon Prime’s new show mostly succeeds in a single bound. Based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys takes place in a universe where superheroes are franchised and the Boys themselves, acting as antagonists in their narratives. The Boys is a dark comedy series about a universe in which superheroes are not the good guys. What is even better is the separation of being able to be rude, vulgar, and insensitive while having its heart in the right place. It is original, unpredictable. There is plenty of fun in this series, and surely a must-watch because of its refreshing content.
